The Reproduction Health and Counseling Center exists to provide high-quality, comprehensive reproductive health care for well women. Using the model of integrating education and supportive services with medical services, the Center seeks to deliver health care which gives attention to the total needs of the individual. We are members of The National Coalition of Abortion Providers, American Proficiency Institute, PAs for the Rights to a Private Life, Center for Reproductive Rights, CHOICE and Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice.

The Organization

 Since 1973, when the Supreme Court handed down its decision that the choice of terminating a pregnancy was between the woman and her doctor, the Reproductive Health and Counseling Center has been providing abortion and other reproductive health care services. The Center was designed to be a model health care center providing an approach to the delivery of services not present in the traditional models of health care delivery.
While the Center is located on the grounds of a medium sized medical center, it is privately owned and its operations are independent of any medical center program.
Current services offered are free pregnancy testing; first and mid-trimester abortion services with local, twilight and general anesthesia; counseling services; contraceptive care; and routine gynecological care. The Center also maintains educational services for the community, providing speakers and training events for both lay and professional groups. The components of our services are education of the client through informed consent and counseling, responsible follow-up, a trained and qualified staff and comprehensive fees.
